Our 9karat gold pieces are made out of solid 9karat gold as suppose to "plated".
This means these pieces are 37.5% pure gold, while the rest is made up of another metal or metals. Due to being mixed with other metals, gold is harder than pure gold, making it a popular choice for jewellery. The gold color is also much softer due to the combination of metals.
