SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
As a brand, we believe in sustainability and try to do our part, learn and get better in the future. At the moment we pack all our jewellery pieces in our recycled eco box.
We try to recycle and reuse our materials as much as we can. We also offer amendments, repairs and want to help bringing old pieces back to life to ensure that your investment goes further so your beloved pieces live on and age with you.

RING SIZING
We offer a variety of ring sizes, depending upon the style.
Most of our rings are available in the most
common ring size, the UK Size M.
You can see our full ring sizing chart here.
Should you like a specific ring size, please email us at romy@romy-london.com to see if it is possible to size up or down according to your preference. If you are unsure of your ring size, we offer a ring sizer that you can order, free of charge.
Your finger size will naturally change throughout the day, and with your cycle, so please note that rings will feel tighter or looser depending on the time of day or month!
When sizing your finger, please ensure your factor in your knuckle as the ring will need to fit over your knuckle to take its place on your finger.

SIZING UP
It is possible to size most rings up by a few sizes. Please note, it is not possible to upsize any of our Eternity Rings as this would cause the pave stones to fall out. To have your ring resized, please email our team at romy@romy-london.com with your request.
SIZING DOWN
It is slightly more difficult to size rings down as you have to cut a piece out of the ring and re-solder the ring shank back together. As most sterling silver jewellery is plated, it would then require re-polishing and re-plating which becomes a slightly more expensive exercise. However, it is possible and we work wherever
possible, to meet your needs so please do email us with requests for sizing rings up or down.

CUSTOM SIZE RINGS
We can create custom rings in any size, just for you. If your size isn’t appearing on the website, please email us as we can create bespoke pieces generally within 6-8 weeks.
OPEN RINGS
We offer a variety of open rings which are a great option for those uncertain of sizing or looking for a placeholder as the open shape is designed to be malleable and can be adjusted to fit. These rings can also be moved around the knuckle and then slid into place at the thinner end of your finger. You can see our various models here including the Leopard Open Ring and our classic Open Ring.
ENGRAVING
All our pieces can be engraved and personalised. Please visit our engraving & personalisation section for further information.

GOLD PLATING VS. VERMEIL
Pronounced ‘ver-may’, Vermeil feels and looks like real gold but without the gold price tag. At ROMY, we use 925 Sterling Silver as our solid base so it feels heavy and has a high end finish. Our gold-plating is 3 microns of fine gold which we colour adjust to deliver the high end gold jewellery look, avoiding the intense
24 karat yellow-gold look.
24 karat yellow-gold look.
SILVER
All of our 925 Sterling Silver pieces are anti-tarnish with a white rhodium plating to ensure they last longer and to give our pieces extra shine. This process also ensures our silver pieces are more durable as Rhodium is from the Platinum family and that they are safe to wear as they are hypoallergenic.
HALLMARKING
Every ROMY piece is stamped with both our ROMY authenticity logo, as well as with the 925 Sterling Silver stamp. In 1300, King Edward passed a statute that all the ‘Guardians of the Craft’ would apply the Leopard’s head
to regulate gold and silver quality controls. Today, we have the London Assay Office mark our pieces over 7 grams by law to identify their quality. Every city has their own symbol and London’s Leopard hallmark stamp inspired our Leopard 1300 collection.
